In these workshops, tinkerers will get to explore circuits, switches, propellers, direct drive, and simple gear systems. Make a Car! Add in the complication of a wheel and axle system. Bring friction into the mix. Send your creation careening down the hall! We’ll gather your supplies for you, show you the basic steps, and then you can let your creativity take over.

$25 per participant ($15 for members)

We believe the whole family should have fun together. Each child registration includes one accompanying adult. Participants 10+ may be dropped off at the start of the session and picked up promptly at the end.

Everyone at TinkerSpace works on their own project while receiving guidance from TinkerSpace staff and inspiration from other people’s work. Each workshop introduces a process or mechanism while we look closely at examples, then each tinkerer creates their own project.
