Grabber Engineering Challenge

Thursday, April 1st,  11:15 am – 12:15 pm PST (in-person)

Thursday, April 8th,  11:30 am – 12:30 pm PST (in-person)

With instructions to make a grabber instrument, we’ll take you most of the way there … it’s up to you to design your grabbing device to pick up objects large and small. We’ll gather your supplies for you, show you how to get the basic mechanism to work, and then you can let your creativity take over to solve our challenges.

$25 per participant ($15 for members)

We believe the whole family should have fun together. Each child registration includes one accompanying adult. Participants 10+ may be dropped off at the start of the session and picked up promptly at the end.

3. Please use the form to register the participant for the workshop.
4. One day before the workshop, and again one hour before the workshop, you will receive a reminder email.

Everyone at TinkerSpace works on their own project while receiving guidance from TinkerSpace staff and inspiration from other people’s work. Each workshop introduces a process or mechanism while we look closely at examples, then each tinkerer creates their own project.
