Create Art. Create your own place to create art!
You will learn the Coptic Stitch bookbinding method and create your own Art Journal. Once your journal is stitched, the remainder of the time will be used to create personal art on the front and back covers. Each participant will leave with instructions for the Coptic Stitch (to make future books) as well as several invitations to create art to inspire them to fill their journal this summer.
Age Range: This event is appropriate for ages 12-16.
Cost: $40 ($20 paid to the City of Upland, $20 to TinkerSpace).
Registration for this event is through the City of Upland Recreation Department. $20 per participant is charged upon registration. A materials fee of $20 is paid to TinkerSpace on the day of class (cash or card).
