Learn about electricity as you wire your own circuit.
First, make a simple circuit with a battery and a hobby motor. Now, use your design skills to make a car that will travel across the room! Using upcycled materials your options are limitless.
Age Range: This event is appropriate for ages 6 – 12. Due to hot glue gun and cutting implement use, an adult helper is required for ages 6 and 7. Any participant may have an adult stay to help use these tools.
Cost: $30 ($20 paid to the City of Upland, $10 to TinkerSpace).
Registration for this event is through the City of Upland Recreation Department. $20 per participant is charged upon registration. A materials fee of $10 is paid to TinkerSpace on the day of class (cash or card).
