Saturday STEAM

January 13 - February 4

January 13, 20, 27, and February 4

In this parent-participation class, we guide you through rich activities that nurture your child’s inquisitive spirit. Explore the world of process art and early scientific discovery alongside us, as we share proven methods for cultivating creative thinking in your child. Together, we’ll empower the next generation of innovators, all while providing you with the knowledge and confidence to support their growth.

Intended for ages 3 – 6 with an adult co-participant.
Cost: $97 / 4-week session

What Does Each Session Look Like?
We provide 3 guided activities plus a variety of independent play opportunities each week.

We encourage you to stay with an activity for as long as YOUR child is interested. Whether you stay with one activity for 45 minutes or work through all 3 in 15 minutes before moving on to the play area, it is all fine. Your child will probably fall somewhere in between these possibilities.

For this age, we focus on process over product. Each activity is rich in materials, tactile experience, and motor skill development. We have examples of possible creations at each station, but what you make is up to your child.

Take this time, free of distractions, to see how your child expresses creativity. Take this time to ask questions and offer new tools and materials to your child. Take this time to explore simple strategies for empowering your child to make their own decisions and develop skills of perseverance and problem-solving.
