Fun Fact: At any given moment there is a shark behind you. It might be a thousand miles away but there is a shark behind you.
And that shark is totally behind you. It is supporting you in whatever you do and wants you to succeed.
Celebrate these beautiful creatures of the deep as an entire family. Make Shark Family portraits, under the sea engineering challenges, and shark-themed art. Be inspired by our projects or come with your own ideas! In the TinkerSpace tradition, you’ll find craft and engineering stations PLUS upcycled materials to bring your imagination to life.
Age Range: This event is appropriate for ages 6 – 15. Be sure to bring an adult with you to share in the fun. (Children under 11 MUST have an adult chaperone.)
Cost:
$30 ($20 paid to the City of Upland, $10 to TinkerSpace). Each registration is valid for one child age 6 – 15 and (up to) 2 adults. The $10 fee to TinkerSpace is waived for any additional registrants from the same family.
Registration for this event is through the City of Upland Recreation Department. $20 per child age 6 – 15 is charged upon registration. One $10 materials fee is paid per family on the day of the event (cash or card).
