TinkerSpace staff will show a basic technique for making items “pop up” in your card. You can then tinker with the idea and make something as simple or complex as you desire. We are choosing activities that are suitable for young children working with their parents, children ages 6+ working on their own, and for advanced crafters (up to adults) trying out techniques that might interest and inspire others.
Supplies needed: Cardstock (or a notecard – blank or recycled), copy paper, colored paper, scissors, glue (glue stick is best for paper on paper). Any other decorative items you want to put on your card are great to have on hand. If you have a paper cutter, that is helpful to cut paper to the right size, but it is not required.
