Supplies Needed:

• door hanger
• mermaid or dragon cutout
• quilling strips
• toothpick
• watercolors
• tacky glue
• markers

Instructions:

(Video to the right gives general quilling instructions -- and a bonus quilled bunny)

Step 1. Paint your doorhanger. You may wish to paint the mermaid or dragon cutout as you will see it through the quilled pieces.

Step 2. Follow the video to quill pieces and glue them to the cardstock cutout.

Step 3. Glue your mermaid or dragon to the door hanger (it is fine to have it hang off the edges a bit).

Step 4. Add more quilled pieces or use the markers to decorate the door hanger.
